School of Gerontology and Long-Term Care

Features of our department

Through education, cultivate students’ abilities in caring, communication, self-growth, management and leadership, teaching, research and criticism, and let students love academics, master nursing skills, macroscopic world and treat others harmoniously. Our care objects include the elderly, their families or communities, etc. People are open and independent individuals with their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. During the process of dynamic interaction with the environment, timely adjustment and integration in biological, physical and psychological , social, cultural, spiritual, etc. in the quest to achieve a comfortable state of health. Emphasizes evidence-based, people-oriented, whole-person, cross-field cooperation and continuous care, in order to cultivate senior health and long-term care professionals with both skills and ethics, humanistic care and enthusiasm for social services.
